Tasha Shepard was an integral part of the Elmhurst women’s soccer team in the early part of this decade. A second-team All-American during the 2002 season, Shepard became the first player in CCIW history to earn all-conference honors in all four of her seasons. She was the first Elmhurst player to earn three first-team all-conference honors from 2001-03. She also closed out her career as a three-time all-region selection. A four-year starter at defender, Shepard helped anchor the Bluejays’ defense and turn Elmhurst into an annual CCIW contender in women’s soccer.
