Elmhurst University Athletics Hall of Fame
A four-time AVCA Regional Coach of the Year, Hall becomes the first active head coach to be inducted to the Bluejay Backer Hall of Fame.Â
Hall came to Elmhurst in 1994 and took over a team that had finished the 1993 seaon with an 8-30 overall record. Just two seasons later, Hall coached the Bluejays to a winning record and in 1998 she led the Bluejays to CCIW Championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.Â
From 2000-2005, Hall's team averaged more than 32 wins a season and won five CCIW titles while making six consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament, including three appearances in the Sweet 16. Most recently, Hall's teams have won back-to-back conference championships and made three straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament, including the 2012 team's Regional Championship and run to the Final Four.Â
Hall has compiled an impressive 535-239 overall record in her time at Elmhurst and ranks among the top-25 among active coaches in Division III in total victories. She has been recognized as the CCIW's Coach of the Year on four occassions and was named the AVCA Midwest Region's Coach of the Year four times, including the past three consecutive seasons. Hall's teams have won eight CCIW Championships and made 10 total appearances in the NCAA Tournament. In her time at Elmhurst, Hall has coached 19 All-Americans, seven CCIW Players of the Year, and 73 all-conference honorees.Â
