A three-sport athlete for the Bluejays, Dolan earned first-team All-CCIW and All-Region softball honors while being named CCIW Co-Player of the Year during the 1997 season. She led the conference in hits, doubles, home runs and stolen bases during 1997. She also led the conference in steals during the 1996 season. Also a star on the volleyball court, Dolan earned second-team All-CCIW honors in 1995 as a setter. She also played basketball during her freshmen season.

Dolan holds several Elmhurst single-season records in softball including: hits, runs, doubles, home runs and at bats. In addition, she also holds the career record for home runs (8) and at the time of her graduation also held career records in runs (75), stolen bases (37) and home runs (8). Although these records have since been eclipsed she still ranks high atop the Elmhurst record books in slugging percentage (.581), extra-base hits (35), batting average (.382), doubles (25), total bases (155), hits (102), and RBI (49).
