A 1988 graduate, Scott Wright became a two-time All-CCIW center in basketball and an All-CCIW tight end in football after transferring to Elmhurst College from the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. In basketball, he averaged 15.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game and at the time of his graduation his 53.4 percent field goal shooting (313-586) ranked seventh best for a Bluejay career. Wright was chosen to the All-CCIW first team in 1983-84 and All-CCIW second team in 1984-85, when he averaged nearly 18 points and eight rebounds per game. In football, he was named All-CCIW honorable mention in 1987, when he totaled 268 yards and two TDs on 20 receptions.
