A 1990 graduate, Dabrowski was a three-time high jump All-American and pole vaulter who lettered four years in track and field. In the high jump, he won the 1988 NCAA Division III Indoor Championship (school record of 6-10 ¾), and in 1989 finished second (6-9 ½) indoors and sixth (6-8) outdoors to earn All-American honors. He also placed 13th (66 ¼) at the 1988 outdoor nationals. Dabrowski won the 1989 CCIW championship (outdoors) in the high jump (6-10 ¼ , equaling his 1988 school record). He placed fifth (6-4) in the CCIW high jump in 1988 and finished sixth (6-4) in both 1986 and 1985. Dabrowski also placed fourth in the CCIW in the pole vault in both 1988 (14-0) and 1985 (13-6). His wife, Stephanie (Miszewski), EC Class of 1988, was inducted into the Bluejay Backer Hall of Fame in 1991 as a member of Elmhurst's 1985 NCAA Division III National Championship women's volleyball team.
