INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After capturing the program's first CCIW regular season and tournament championships, Elmhurst Men's Lacrosse learned their destination for their appearance in the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship, during the event's selection show on Sunday night.

The Bluejays will face off against Rochester Institute of Technology, out of Rochester, N.Y. in the second round of the tournament. The Tigers were the Liberty League tournament champions, and enter the tournament with an overall record of 16-4.

The matchup with the Tigers is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m., at Sea Gull Stadium in Salisbury, Md.

The Bluejays (15-3) are making their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and bring plenty of firepower to the big dance. As a team, the Bluejays rank 12th nationally in faceoff percentage, primarily behind Tony Vazquez and his .719 faceoff percentage (12th in D-III). Eli Spence ranks 6th nationally with an average of 4.18 goals per game, and 4th in the country with 6.47 points per game.
