ELMHURST, Ill. – For the first time this year and the second time in his Bluejay career, Elmhurst goalkeeper Andrew Lacksonsen was named the CCIW Men's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Lacksonen helped lock down a pair of wins last week for the Jays, over Wooster (Ohio) and at home over Albion (Mich.). The senior recorded a 7.06 goals-against average with a .658 save percentage as Elmhurst secured their seventh and eighth wins of the season, and a three-match win streak.
On the season, Lacksonen leads the CCIW with a 9.36 goals-against average, and an average of 12.0 saves per game.
The Bluejays open conference play this weekend, when they host Carroll at Langhorst Field on Saturday, April 4, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
