NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Eli Spence and Noah Mickelson of the Elmhurst University men's lacrosse team swept the weekly CCIW awards, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Spence earned his second CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week honor after a trio of huge showing across three Bluejay victories last week. Spence totaled 13 goals and eight assists for 21 total points. At Hope last Monday, Spence had five goals and two assists in a 13-8 win, and followed that up with five goals and three assists at home against Concordia Wisconsin last Wednesday. Spence wrapped the week up with three goals and three assists in a 12-3 win at MSOE on Saturday. The junior ranks ninth nationally in points per game (7.50), and 13th in goals per game (4.50), and tied for seventh in the nation with 18 goals.

Mickelson made three starts for the Bluejays last week, all wins, improving his record to 4-0 on the season in the net. On the week, Mickelson made 32 saves on 82 shots faced, allowing 17 goals for a .653 save percentage and a 5.82 goals against average. At Hope, Mickelson made 14 saves, and made 11 saves against CUW last Wednesday. Mickelson ended his week with seven saves and just three goals allowed at MSOE last Saturday.
