Spence Takes Home First CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week Honor for 2025

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Eli Spence of the Elmhurst University men's lacrosse team took home the first CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2025 season, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Spence had a thunderous season debut in the Bluejays' 17-12 victory over Centre on Saturday, Feb. 8. Spence led all players with five goals and four assists (nine points), while collecting two ground balls. His efforts also earned him a spot on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) DIII Team of the Week.

After recent schedule changes, the Spence and the Bluejays are next in action this Saturday, Feb. 22, on the road at Hope College for a 12:00 p.m. CT start time.
