NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Elmhurst men's track and field team competed at North Central College's First-Chance Opener.

Thomas Schwartz scored a ninth-place finish in the discus, recording a toss of 27.90 meters on his third attempt.
Stefan Postman added a seventh-place finish in the long jump, recording a leap of 5.56 meters.

Postman added a 10th place finish in the 100 meters, completing the race in 11.87 seconds.
Chris Griffith finished 13th in 12.21 seconds. Griffith added an eighth-place finish in the 200 meters in 24.91 seconds.
James Palumbo finished 11th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:03.32.
Michael Lieggi placed 14th in 2:12.56 while
Xavier Ahuad placed 15th in 2:12.65.
Brian Santos (16th in 2:16.59),
Hayden Szaltis (17th in 2:17.36) and
Jackson Hudec (18th in 2:19.85) also finished in the top-20.
Andrew Matuszewsi placed 18
th in the 1,500 meters, recording a time of 4:16.69.
Josphat Langat place 16th in the 5,000 meters, completing the race in 15:58.94.
Javier De La Torre added a 20th-place finish in the 5,000 with a time of 17:37.40.
