Women's Track & Field win second straight CCIW Outdoor title

KENOSHA, Wisc. – Elmhurst Women's Track & Field defended their CCIW outdoor title, claiming their fourth straight conference championships between indoor and outdoor seasons at the 2026 CCIW Track & Field Championships at Carthage College on Friday and Saturday.

The Bluejays finished with 142 team points, surpassing North Central's 128 to take the title. Four Bluejays picked up event wins to lead Elmhurst to the top of the standings.

Tiana Grady picked up the win in the women's 100 meter hurdles, posting the fastest time in prelims (14.86) before lowering that time to 14.74 in the final to take the title.

Carmela Woods claimed the win in the women's 400 meters in similar fashion, posting the fastest time in prelims at 56.46, climbing to 32nd on the NCAA Division III performance list. Woods then ran a 57.66 to win again in the finals.

In the mid-distance events, Sarah Hahn picked up the win in the women's 1,500 meters, besting the field by over three seconds with a time of 4:41.49.

The Bluejays went 1-2 in the women's long jump, with Chloe Selmer winning with a jump of 5.60m (18' 4.5"), good for 38th nationally in Division III this season. Paulina Tinajero finished second, with a season-best jump of 5.58m (18' 3.75").
