ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst University men's and women's track and field teams have been honored with U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team awards for their outstanding performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
The women's team earned the distinction with a cumulative GPA of 3.67, while the men's team was recognized with a 3.20 GPA. The award is presented to collegiate programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.10 or higher among all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility.
In addition to the team awards, 11 Elmhurst student-athletes earned individual USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, which are presented to student-athletes who hold a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and meet specific athletic performance standards.
Logan Turney represented the men's team as an All-Academic selection, majoring in Computer Game and Entertainment Technology.
On the women's side, ten Bluejays were honored: Alyssa Busker (Communication Sciences and Disorders), Hailey Caraway (Nursing), Brooke Greaves (Biology), Sadie Hartmann (Education), Lauren Marshall (Business Administration), Nakala Nadeau (Exercise Science), Hannah Schwarz (Exercise Science), Chloe Selmer (Nursing), Paulina Tinajero (Nursing), and Carmela Woods (Psychology).
