Elmhurst University's Bryce Gable has been named to D3football.com's All-Region team. Gable was a second-team selection at linebacker in region five. 

The all-region honor is the first of Gable's career. Gable was named to the CCIW's first-team all-conference squad last month, collecting the second all-conference honor of his career after earning second-team all-conference honors in his freshman season of 2019. 

Gable finished the regular season as the Bluejays' leader in total tackles (117), solo tackles (72), assisted tackles (45) and tackles for loss (19). He totaled 6.5 quarterback sacks, the second highest total on the squad. He also led the team in fumble recoveries (four) and forced fumbles (two) while co-leading the squad in interceptions (three). He also scored a pair of defensive touchdowns this season for the Bluejays. Against CCIW opponents, Gable led the league in tackles (103), solo tackles (63), assisted tackles (40) and tackles for loss (16.5).

Gable's regular season totals ranked near the top of NCAA Division III leaders in several defensive categories including solo tackles (fourth at 7.2 per game), total tackles (seventh at 11.7 per game) and tackles for loss (16th at 1.8). 

In two seasons, Gable has totaled 188 total tackles, including 113 solo tackles, 33 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.
