ELMHURST, Ill. – Two Bluejays were recognized for their work both on the football field and in the classroom, as senior quarterback John Odom and junior linebacker Jace Zeffiro were named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team.

Odom led the Bluejays this fall as the team's primary signal-caller, throwing for 1,046 yards in seven games. A Wheaton, Ill. native, Odom will graduate from Elmhurst with a degree in Graphic Design.

Zeffiro finished the season as the team's second-leading tackler, with 81 stops at linebacker, good for 6th-most in the CCIW. Off the field, Zeffiro is pursuing a degree in Marketing.

To be nominated for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 as a sophomore or higher, and either appear in 90 percent of games played, or be included in the starting lineup for 66 percent of the season.
