Box Score ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst women's lacrosse team slipped to 6-7 on the season following a 22-1 loss at Augustana College.

Augustana (14-1, 4-0 CCIW) scored early and often as the Vikings recorded the games first 19 goals en route to to the 21-goal victory. The Viking led 13-0 at the half after outshooting Elmhurst (0-3 CCIW) 21-3 in the half.

Augustana outshot the Bluejays 35-6 for the contest and had a 16-7 edge in ground balls.

Meghan Keyes recorded Elmhurst's only goal of the game, scoring from free position with 2:47 left in the second half. Grace Knoebel took the loss in net, stopping seven shots in the contest.

Anne Hopkins powered Augustana with seven points, scoring five goals and totaling two assists. Emily Handrahan finished with the exact opposite of Hopkins, tallying seven points on five assists and two goals. Hilly Kargl finished with six points on two goals and four assists. Emily Pavlik, Kelly Stelzer and Kaylee Nolan each recorded two goals in the win.

Elmhurst travels to Carroll University on Monday, April 20.
