ORLANDO, Fla. - The Elmhurst women's tennis team slipped to 3-11 on the season following a 9-0 loss to Luther College in Orlando, Fla.
Luther swept the three doubles matches with Katy Lindstrom and Annie Whiteley defeating
Nicole Darga and
Annie Duggan 8-6 at No. 1 doubles. Hailey Johnson and Maggie Helms shut out
Brittany Kuehn and
Alexis Adams 8-0 at No. 2 doubles while Adriana DePaolis and Megan Wachholz downed
Lauren Kuehn and
Ragan Wilson 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Elise Allen toppled Duggan 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles while Lola White-Baer defeated Darga 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Whiteley handled
Lauren Kuehn 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles while DePaolis blanked Wilson (6-0 ,6-0) at No. 4 singles. Wachholz defeated
Brittany Kuehn 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Olivia Heitz closed out singles play with a 6-2, 6-1 win over
Jennifer Guenther at No. 6 singles.
Elmhurst picks up spring play on April 12 by hosting Aurora University.
