Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. -  Morgan Geimer tallied a pair of goals to lead the Elmhurst women's soccer team to a 3-1 road win at Marian University.

Marian (2-4) jumped on the scoreboard just 3:27 into the match when Leisa Conn found the back of the net.

Geimer and Amy Baschen combined for all of the Bluejays offense. Geimer finished the contest with five points (two goals and one assist) while Baschen totaled four points (one goal and two assists).

The Bluejays erased the Sabres lead in the 17th minute when Amy Baschen volleyed home a Morgan Geimer corner kick.

Elmhurst took a one-goal lead four minutes later on Geimer's first goal of the game off a feed from Baschen.

The Bluejays held their one-goal lead until the 80th minute when Geimer connected off a pass from Baschen to put the game out of reach.

Elmhurst controlled the tempo of the contest, outshooting Marian 24-6 in the game. The Bluejays also held a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.

Maddie Fitzpatrick registered a save and earned the win in goal for the Bluejays. Caitlyn Rosenberger stopped seven shots in goal for the Sabres while taking the loss.

Elmhurst welcomes Coe College to Langhorst Field on Wednesday (September 19).
