NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's track and field team registered 20 points to place sixth at the CCIW Indoor Championship.

North Central College won the team title with 261 points.

Jake Austin was the Bluejays' top performer, scoring six points and earning all-conference honors with a third-place finish in the mile run. Austin crossed the finish line in 4:18.06. Austin added a seventh-place finish in the 800 meters by finishing the race in 1:56.66.

Mark D'Angelo added a sixth-place finish in the 400 meters, earning all-CCIW accolades by completing the race in 50.39 seconds.

The Bluejays' 4x400 relay team placed fourth, earning all-conference honors in the process. The squad of Kurt Kibler, Kyle Kibler, Austin, and D'Angelo finished fourth with a time of 3:26.19.

Elmhurst's distance medley relay finished in fifth place with a time of 10:36.22 to record four points.
