NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Elmhurst's Annie Duggan earned first-team all-conference honors and was named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Newcomer of the Year in women's tennis.

Duggan, a sophomore transfer, made an immediate impact for the Bluejays in her first season with the team. She placed third at No.1 singles at the CCIW Championship and helped guide Elmhurst to a sixth-place team finish.

Duggan led the Bluejays in both singles and doubles victories. She posted a 9-6 overall record in singles competition, including a 6-5 mark at No. 1 singles. In doubles action, she posted a 7-7 record.
