WAUKEGAN, Ill. - Freshman Ashley Beverage made her collegiate debut by shooting an 81 and taking home first-place at the Robert Morris University Fall Classic at Bonnie Brook Golf Course. 

Beverage helped lead the Bluejays to a sixth-place overall finish with a 358 team score. Olivet College won the team title with a 341 while Wheaton College (343) placed second and Carthage College (350) took third..

Amanda Wright carded an 86 for the Bluejays while Trisha Goss added a 94. Jordan Maisto shot a 97 while Courtney Classen rounded out the Bluejays' team-score with a 98. Christine Moran added a 135 while competing as an individual.

The Bluejays compete at the North Central College Invitational on Tuesday, September 6.
