MADISON, Wis. - The Elmhurst University women's golf team wrapped up play at the Edgewood University Fall Invite, finishing seventh in the 14-team field with a two-day score of 685 (341-344) at Odana Hills Golf Course in Madison, Wis.
Elise Nelson paced the Bluejays with a two-round total of 163 (80-83), tying for 12th place in the 94-player field. Emily Roberts followed with a 167 (78-89) to tie for 18th.
Hailey Vogt made a strong second-day push, carding an 80 after a first-round 97 to finish at 177 and tie for 22nd. Laine Leonard turned in rounds of 87 and 92 for a 179, tying for 42nd. Ava Sweeten added a 188 (96-92) to place 55th overall.
Competing as individuals, Magen Laas posted a 177 (85-92) to match Vogt in a tie for 22nd, while Ava Ferri (91-90–181) and Jessica Perns (94-87–181) tied for 46th.
Elmhurst finished just one stroke behind Carroll for sixth place and continued to show depth with multiple golfers finishing inside the top half of the field.
