WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – Elmhurst Women's Golf wrapped up the 2025-26 season this week, making three appearances throughout the month of April.
The Bluejays kicked off the spring season at the Judson Spring Invite, held at Randall Oaks G.C. in Randall Oaks, Ill., where they would finish 7th out of the 18-team field in the single-round event.
Elmhurst would record a team score of 366 (+82) on the day, led by Emily Roberts' round of 83 (+12). Roberts placed 8th overall, with a pair of key birdies on the back nine to climb the leaderboard. Laine Leonard (88), Elise Nelson (92) and Hailey Vogt (103) rounded out the scoring positions for the Bluejays.
Last week, Elmhurst took on Lake Forest in a dual match at Pine Meadow G.C. in Mundelein, Ill., falling to the Foresters by a team score of 343-316. Nelson led the way again, carding an 81 (+9).
On Monday, the Bluejays competed at the Benedictine University Invite in West Chicago, Ill. at the St. Andrews Golf & Country Club. The team would earn an 8th-place result out of 14 teams, shooting 364 (+76) for the single-round tournament.
Nelson and Leonard both posted top-20 performances, shooting 85 (+13) and 86 (+14), respectively.
