DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Elmhurst College women's golf team totaled a two-day score of 790 to place second at the Loras College Invitational.
Elmhurst finished just one stroke in front of Simpson College (791). Central College won the team title with a 731.
Jorianne Maritato (playing as an individual),
Amber Remblake, and
Amanda Wright all shot identical scores of 196 to tie for 11th place.
Courtney Classen finished one stroke behind to total a 197 to tie for 14th place.
Kelly Partyka carded a 203 to tie for 20th place.
Trisha Goss finished the tournament with a 205, good for 23rd place to complete the Bluejays' scoring.
Devin Wangler recorded a 206 to place 25th while competing as an individual.
Elmhurst competes at the CCIW Championship on October 7-9.
