ELMHURST, Ill. – For the second week in a row, faceoff specialist Tony Vazquez has been recognized as the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week.

Vazquez was a perfect 14-for-14 on faceoffs in the Bluejays' 27-0 win at Augustana on Saturday. The senior has gone perfect on faceoffs for two straight matches, having not lost a matchup at midfield throughout the month of April.

During his four-year career at Elmhurst, Vazquez has four matches with a perfect faceoff percentage, but Saturday's 14 attempts is the most for the Cottage Grove, Minn. native in those games.

The Bluejays will step away from CCIW play this week, with their next-to-last home game on Thursday night when Elmhurst hosts Colorado College at 7:30 p.m. at Langhorst Field.
