NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Sophomore Brooke Greaves picked up another weekly honor for Elmhurst Track & Field on Wednesday, as the jumper/sprinter was named the CCIW Women's Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week.
Greaves is the fourth Bluejay this season to pick up the league's Student-Athlete of the Week award, and earns the team's fifth award overall. The Addison, Ill. native earned the win in the women's 60 meter hurdles at the Slick Invitational at North Central on Saturday, her fifth win in the event this season.
Greaves posted a time of 8.74 seconds in the preliminaries, setting a personal record and the fastest time in the CCIW since 2024. Her mark places her second all-time in Elmhurst program history, and Greaves becomes just the third Bluejay ever to run under 8.8 seconds in the event.
This weekend, Greaves will look for a sixth victory in the 60m Hurdles, and her first CCIW title in the event at the 2026 CCIW Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan beginning on Friday.
