NAPERVILLE, Ill. – A trio of school records fell over the weekend, as Elmhurst Track & Field re-wrote the record books at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships, hosted by North Central College.

Three Bluejays set program records, as Sarah Hahn broke one of the oldest records in program history with her performance in the women's 800 meters. Hahn would finish 2nd with a time of 2:15.76, bettering Kelly Van Guilder's 2003 mark by nearly three full seconds.

Paulina Tinajero and Chloe Selmer traded records between themselves on Saturday. Tinajero – the previous Elmhurst record-holder in the long jump – had her mark surpassed by Selmer's 2nd-place result, with Selmer clearing 5.93m (19' 5'5") and becoming the first Bluejay to clear 5.9 meters in the event.

Tinajero returned the favor in the triple jump, besting Selmer's previous record with her win at the Chicagoland by jumping 11.78m (38' 7.75")

Both jumpers feature in the national rankings in both events with Selmer improving to 3rd in Division III in the long jump, and Tinajero moving up to 6th in the triple jump.

The Bluejay sprinters and hurdlers also picked up wins on Saturday, with Carmela Woods taking the title in the women's 400 meters (57.54), and Brooke Greaves winning the women's 60 meter hurdles (8.84).

On the men's side, pole vaulter Logan Turney would improve his standing nationally, placing 2nd in the event and clearing a personal-best 4.88m (16') to climb to No. 20 in the national performance list.
