ELMHURST Ill. - Elmhurst Women's Track and Field will appear at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the 5th consecutive year, after another milestone season of clinching the Indoor and Outdoor CCIW Championships back to back. 

Carmela Woods will make her first appearance at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships in the 400 meter dash. Woods collected five first place finishes in the 400 meter in the 2026 outdoor season. The Junior also was able to set her personal best of 55.37 at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite this past weekend, gaining the title of program record holder of the 400 meter dash.

Joining the qualifier list is the 4x100 Relay team of Tiana Grady, Jasha James, Carmela Woods, Paulina Tinajero. The team's time of 46.84 ranks 17th on the NCAA DIII performance list, and is the fifth fastest in program history. Across the season the team picked up two wins at the Penultimate Qualifier hosted by Augustana, and the Old Fashioned Track & Field Meet at Wheaton.
