KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Elmhurst University women's golf team competed in a large 39-team field at the Midwest Region Classic, hosted September 19 at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, Wis. The Bluejays posted a team score of 358, finishing in a tie for 25th overall.
Northwestern-St. Paul captured the team title with a score of 303, while Aurora placed second at 310 and UW-Oshkosh finished third at 316.
Emily Roberts led the way for Elmhurst, carding an 84 to finish tied for 66th place in the 226-player field. She was followed by Hailey Vogt, who shot an 89 to tie for 117th. Laine Leonard turned in a 92 to tie for 144th, while Magen Laas added a 93 to tie for 153rd. Rounding out the Bluejays' scoring were Jessica Perns and Ava Sweeten, each with a 96 to tie for 170th.
Playing as an individual, Ava Ferri shot a 97, good for a tie for 176th.
