WARRENVILLE, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's cross country team secured a seventh-place team finish at the Gill Dodds Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College at St. James Farm on September 20. The Bluejays totaled 196 points in the 6,000-meter race, placing all five scorers inside the top 60.

Senior Molly Roberts once again led Elmhurst, turning in a 23:11.3 to place 19th overall in the large field. Junior Paige Rewerts followed with a 36th-place finish in 24:16.4, while freshman Joanna Rivera placed 38th at 24:19.3. Junior Jessica Solar was next across the line in 49th at 24:45.8, and sophomore Keagan Burke rounded out the scoring lineup in 57th with a time of 25:00.4.

Additional Bluejay competitors included junior Sandy Chagoya (68th, 25:11.2), senior Alyssa Roelli (75th, 25:27.2), junior Jade Benavides (93rd, 25:31.5), junior Annie Hathaway (135th, 26:47.7), freshman Morgan Ashcroft (143rd, 27:20.8), senior Lauren Snelgrove (180th, 29:03.3), and freshman Annalise Wickersheim (190th, 30:08.6).

The University of Chicago dominated the meet, sweeping the top four spots and placing all five scorers inside the top seven to finish with 17 points. DePauw (78), Cornell (106), Kalamazoo (110), Wheaton (152), and Aurora (188) filled out the top six ahead of Elmhurst.
