Four Women's Hoops Bluejays Gather CSC Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Kristin Bukata, MC Brown, Natalie Harty, and Lindsay Novak from Elmhurst women's basketball earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.

The Bluejays put the maximum number of student-athletes on the lists, with Novak and Brown earning their second-straight honors and Bukata and Harty earning their first selections in their first year of eligibility.

Harty led the way with a leading GPA of 3.83 studying both Accounting and Finance, appearing in 23 games with two starts, knocking down the second most threes on the team (22) and averaging 4.7 points per game. Novak, one of the top three-point threats in the CCIW last season, holds a 3.78 GPA studying sports management. Novak knocked down 46 threes at a .326 clip throughout 25 games played, with 12 starts, in the 2024-25 season. Brown, a criminal justice anbd psychology double major with a 3.74 GPA, started all 25 games for the Bluejays this season.

Bukata, who owns a 3.72 GPA studying mathematics with a conectration in secondary education, moved onto the national ballot for Academic All-American consideration from the organization. Bukata was a unanimous First Team All-CCIW selection after leading the Bluejay offense in the 2024-25 campaign. Bukata started and played in all 24 games this season for the Jays, averaging 34.0 minutes per game and leading the team in field goals made (134), points (384), points/game (16.0), free throws made (103), assists (88), and assists/game (3.7). Additionally, in the CCIW, Bukata ranked second in assist/turnover ratio and free throws, third in points/game and minutes/game, fourth in assists and assists/game, and fifth in points and field goal percentage.
