ELMHURST, Ill. - Kristin Bukata, a sophomore on the Elmhurst University women's basketball team, represented the Bluejays as a Third Team All-Region 8 honoree by D3hoops.com.

Bukata is the first Bluejay since Elmhurst Hall of Famer Mikaela Eppard to earn All-Region honors from the organization in the 2017-18 season. Bukata was a unanimous First Team All-CCIW selection after leading the Bluejay offense in the 2024-25 campaign. Bukata started and played in all 24 games this season for the Jays, averaging 34.0 minutes per game and leading the team in field goals made (134), points (384), points/game (16.0), free throws made (103), assists (88), and assists/game (3.7). Additionally, in the CCIW, Bukata ranked second in assist/turnover ratio and free throws, third in points/game and minutes/game, fourth in assists and assists/game, and fifth in points and field goal percentage.
