WARRENVILLE, Ill. -Â The Elmhurst University women's cross country team took eighth out of 19 teams at Wheaton's Gil Dodds Invitational Saturday morning.
The Bluejays had a team-total of 203 points, finishing ahead of CCIW foe North Central in ninth and just behind Carroll in seventh.
A pair of Bluejays placed in the top-50 of the event, led by
Ashley Kachurik's 13th-place finish with a time of 23:34.80.
Molly Roberts placed 25th with a personal-best time of 23:56.80, while
Jessica Solar was the other closest Bluejay in 55th with a personal-best time of 25:08.60.
Other Bluejays to record personal-bests in the event include
Sabrina Kadow (25:15.00),
Keagan Burke (26:27.30), andÂ
Julietta Contreras (26:59.70).

The Bluejays will take a preview of this year's NCAA Championship course at the NCAA Pre-Nationals event in Terre Haute, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 4 at 9:00 pm.
