WEST CHICAGO, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's golf team placed third at the Benedictine Fall Invitational Wednesday afternoon at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club.
The Bluejays put forward a team score of 327 to place nine strokes behind runner-up Marian and 25 behind tournament winner Aurora. Elmhurst also fielded a second team in the event, placing ninth with a round of 363.
Individually,
Regan Bobich led the Jays with a 77, tying for fourth in the event.
Elise Nelson and
Mia Coppola posted top-25 finishes, each tying for 18th with a round of 83, while
Emily Roberts posted an 84 for a t-22nd finish.
