Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst men's Track & Field team competed in their very own Chicagoland Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
The Bluejays finished with 13 points, while North Central finished in 1st with 114.5 points, University of Chicao with 100.93 points in 2nd and in 3rd, Lewis University with 79 points.
Logan Turney placed 3rd in Pole Vault hitting a 4.35m mark. Rickey Martinez finished 6th in the Triple Jump with a 13.45m mark, and Joey Barber finished in 6th as well in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 9:53.68. Andrew Wieser finished in 8th during the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.73.
Many other Bluejays hit personal best marks In running, TJ McNamara in the 100m, Zaiden Smith and Harry Llobrerain the 400m, Martin Diaz in the 800m, Kayden Miller and Brandon Pounders in the 1500m, Zack Fidrocki in the 3000m, Caleb Deboer in the 10,000m, Eric Jandura in the 400m hurdles, and Nicholas Williams in the 3000m Steeplechase. Both Owen Sheley and Jeffery Leghliter in the high jump and Owen Sheley in the Javelin.

The Bluejays will travel to California as they will partake in the Long Beach Invitational and Bryan Clay Invitational on April 11-12th.
