Elmhurst Ill. - The Elmhurst women's lacrosse team had a unofficial record setting performance with goals and points in a game on Wednesday night as they hosted College of Dupage for an exhibition contest.
Bluejays (2-5), were led by Andrea Mutrland as she had four goals and five assists, followed by Graice Eastman as she had three goals and two assists of her own.
Kendall Schieppe had a hat-trick on the night, with teammate
Savannah Sannes adding two goals and an assist.
MC Brown,
Mikaela Armstrong and
Bella Roque all had two goals on the night.
Corinna Salmon and
Hannah Jacob also scored a goal in the record setting performance as well.
COD (0-2), were led by Peyton Dkystra as she scored the lone goal for the College of Dupage.
The Bluejays dominated in every statistical category while also scoring their most goals in a game and most points in a game in the history of the program (unofficial records). The Bluejays scored 10 goals in the first period which would start the running clock for the game and they would never look back as they would take a 15-0 lead before COD would respond with a goal of their own. The Bluejays would go on to finish off the game 20-1 in a great win.
UP NEXT
The Bluejays will head to conference play as they will travel to Carthage College on April 6th at 1:00 pm.
