Naperville  Ill.- The Elmhurst men's track and field team wrapped up competition on Saturday of the 2024 CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championships at Al B. Carius Track at North Central College. 

The Bluejays finished 8th overall with 12 points. The top three finishers: 1st North Central College (165), 2nd Carthage College (115), 3rd Millikin University (115).  

In today's events, Eric Jandura and James Palumbo scored for the Bluejays along with the 4x400 relay team.  

Jandura would finish 8th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.96. Palumbo would finish 7th in the 800m scoring a time of 1:57.86.  

The 4x400 relay team would come in 8th timing at 3:33.85. The team would consist of Marvin Tchangwa, Zaiden Smith, Palumbo, and Jandura.  

In running, a few Bluejays would record personal bests, Andrew Wieser and Harry Llobrera would run their best times in the 400m. In the 800m, Kayden Miller and Hudson Wills would record their best times. Jacob Cockrell and Jaedon Thompson would run their best in the 200m.

Elmhurst will be back in action on March 1st at the Firebird Finale at Carthage College.
