Naperville Ill. - The Elmhurst men's track team competed at the F. Lee Slick Invitational at North Central College where they would finish 7th.

The top three teams consisted of North Central finished first with 179 points, Lewis University second (168.5), and Dupage College third with 63 points. 

Logan Turney finished second in the Pole Vault with a  (4.60m) mark this is not only his personal best but puts him second in the CCIW top performers list. 

Back in the Jumps, Kayton Garrett finished in 6th in the Long Jump (6.40m), and Owen Sheley finished with a personal best. Sheley also finished 8th in the High Jump (1.73m). Patrick Campbell finished 6th (12.82m) in the Triple Jump and Garrett finished 7th (12.63m). 

In the 60m Hurdles, Eric Jandura finished 6th at 9.07 seconds. While in the 800m, James Palumbo also finished 6th at 1:59.53.

Many Bluejays finished with personal bests on the day. In the 200m, Jacob Cockrell, Jaedon Thompson, and Harry Llobrera. 400m was Andrew Wieser and Harry Llobrera. In the 800m were Joey Barber, Preston Bailey, Hudson Wills, and Zack Fidrocki. And in the Mile, Aidan Ihms, Kayden Miller, Caleb DeBoer, and Brandon Pounders.

 The Bluejays travel next to North Central again for the CCIW Indoor Track & Field Championship from Feb. 23-24th.
