ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's cross country team finished out the 2024 season at Saturday's NCAA Midwest Regional Championship on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Elmhurst placed 14th in the 28-team event with seven runners competing, led by senior Ashley Kachurik, who finished 45th with a time of 23:16.6. Molly Roberts followed in 53rd place with a time of 23:42.7, while Jade Benavides and Jessica Solar ran closely, finishing 87th and 88th, respectively, with times of 24:24.5 and 24:24.7.

Senior Tala Yacoub placed 102nd with a time of 24:38.8, while fellow senior Esther Brown crossed the line in 116th at 24:55.3. Rounding out the team, sophomore Meredith Mounier finished 135th with a time of 25:33.1.
