BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Elmhurst University men's track and field team continued its indoor season by competing at Illinois Wesleyan University's Titan Open.

No team scores were kept at the event, but the Bluejays turned in several strong individual efforts.

The Bluejays' had a strong showing in the 800 meters with a pair of top-10 finishes.
Marvin Tchangwa placed second in the event, recording a personal best and Elmhurst top-10 time of 1:58.97.
Braxston Redmond placed one second behind, finishing fourth in 1:59.97.

James Palumbo added a ninth-place finish in the mile run, crossing the finish line in 4:35.51.
Nick Williams added a fifth-place finish in the 5,000 meters, finishing the race in 16:15.86.
Eric Jandura added a ninth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles, completing the race in 9.53 seconds.

Elmhurst's Brett von Schwedler placed sixth in the high jump, finishing with a distance of 1.73 meters. He added a sixth-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 11.95 meters.
Jeremy Inniss added a seventh-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.11 meters.
Uzair Ali placed 10th in the long jump with a leap of 5.83 meters.

Chris Pedersen scored a pair of top-10 finishes in the throws. He placed 10th in the shot put with a distance of 11.57 meters and 10th in the weight throw with a distance of 10.50 meters.
