ALGONQUIN, Ill. - The Elmhurst University women's golf team continued it's strong start to the 2021 season with another record-setting performance at the Judson University Invitational at the Golf Club of Illinois.
The Bluejays finished the two-day event with a 669, good for third place in the team standings. After setting a new school record for a 36-hole round earlier this year, the Bluejays' shattered the mark by 31 strokes. The Bluejays also bettered their 18-hole round school record of 330 by shooting a 329 on the first day.
Freshman
Regan Bobich led the way for the Bluejays finishing with a 162 and taking home ninth-place. Bobich bettered her own 36-hole school record of 163 by one stroke.
Taylor Fuchs finished just behind Bobich, carding a 165 (79-86) to place 10th overall.
Rachel Fratt tied for 14th after finishing the two-day tournament with a 173 (87-86).
Eva Toon shot a 177 (89-88) to finish in 17th place while
Zhanner Davis totaled a 179 (81-98) to tie for 20th place.
