ELMHURST, ILL. – Elmhurst University's Jake Delgado has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

Delgado, the senior goalie for the Bluejays, recorded 25 saves in the Bluejays' two wins this past week. In the 9-6 win over Aurora University, he recorded 14 saves and a .700 save percentage. He led the Bluejays in net with 11 saves and a .579 save percentage in the team's 18-8 win over DePauw University on Saturday, March 13.

This season, Delgado holds a 4-0 record, and owns 41 saves and a .621 save percentage.
