Matt Koshiol all earned national All-American honors for their exceptional play during the 2025 season.
Leading the way was junior attackman Eli Spence, who was named a USA Lacrosse Magazine Honorable Mention All-American and earned a spot on the USILA Third Team All-American list- the only player from Region V to be selected to any USILA All-America team. Spence turned in a dominant offensive season, starting 15 games and posting eye-popping numbers: 64 goals, 47 assists, and 111 total points on 179 shots. He scored at a .358 clip and put 63.7% of his shots on goal, adding five game-winners and four man-up goals. Beyond his scoring prowess, Spence also collected 22 ground balls and added eight caused turnovers, consistently creating opportunities and finishing plays at an elite level.Â
At the faceoff "X," junior specialist Tony Vazquez was a game-changer and earned USILA Honorable Mention All-American recognition for his efforts for the second-straight season. Vazquez was a workhorse in the middle, winning 244 of 377 faceoffs for a remarkable .647 percentage, one of the best marks in the country. He also led the team in ground balls with 134 and caused 15 turnovers, regularly giving the Bluejays the edge in possession and transition.
On the defensive end, junior Matt Koshiol emerged as a true anchor and earned USILA Honorable Mention All-American honors as well. Starting 15 games, Koshiol recorded 34 ground balls and led the Bluejays with 19 caused turnovers. His physicality, leadership, and ability to shut down top offensive threats made him one of the most reliable defenders in the nation.
