BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Members of the Elmhurst University men's track and field team closed its indoor season by competing at the CCIW Elite Invitational hosted by Illinois Wesleyan.
 
Andrew Matuszewski competed in the 800 meters and placed seventh, crossing the finish line in 2:02.32. The Bluejays' distance medley relay team of Josphat Langat, Raynel Mitchell, Jamal Slaven and Matuszewski placed fifth with a time of 11:01.54.
 
Matt Tobin competed in the pole vault and earned a sixth-place finish. Tobin cleared a height of 3.80 meters on his second attempt. Jeremy Inniss and Stefan Postman finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in the long jump. Inniss recorded a leap of 6.07 meters while Postman had a mark of 5.77 meters. Brett Von Schwedler added a sixth-place finish in the triple jump, recording a leap of 11.39 meters on his final attempt.
