NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Elmhurst men's track and field team returned to action in a dual meet at North Central College in Naperville. 

Rayneal Mitchell placed third in the 60 meters, crossing the finish line in 7.25 seconds. Luca Ferrantelli placed fifth (7.56 seconds) while Chris Griffith finished sixth in 7.77 seconds. Andrew Wieser added a second-place finish in the 60 hurdles, finishing the race in 11.85 seconds. The Bluejays finished third through sixth in the 200 meters. Mitchell turned in a time of 24.25 seconds to place third while Ferrantelli finished fourth in 24.42 seconds. Wieser (25.38 seconds) and Griffith (25.51 seconds) placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
 
Andrew Matuszewski and Jamal Slaven finished second and third, respectively, in the 800 meters. Matuszewski finished in 2:01.88 while Slaven placed third in 2:04.43.
 
Chris Pedersen and Thomas Schwartz added top-five finishes in the shot put. Pedersen placed second in the event with a toss of 13.06 meters while Schwartz finished fourth with a throw of 10.12 meters.
 
Jeremy Inniss placed second in the long jump with a mark of 6.05 meters while Stefan Postman recorded a leap of 5.92 meters, good for third place. Logan Techentin placed fourth with a mark of 5.62 meters. Matt Tobin finished tied for second in the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.10 meters. Ethan Petterson scored a second-place finish in the high jump by clearing a height of 1.59 meters. Brett von Schwedler finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 11.92 meters.
