ADDISON, Ill. - The Elmhurst University bowling team evened its record at 9-9 on the season after sweeping three matches from Dominican University.
Elmhurst opened with a 757-728 victory over the Stars.
Annie Durava led the way for the Bluejays with a 193 while
Elena Vezmar bowled a 177 and
Kiersten Henderson added a 174.
The Bluejays edged the Stars 679-665 in the second match with
Ruthie Rakowski carrying the squad with a season-best 234. Vezmar added a 147 for Elmhurst in the victory.
Elmhurst closed the night with a decisive 817-703 victory. Durava broke the 200-barrier, rolling a team best 213. Rakowski added a 189 while Vezmar bowled a 161 for Elmhurst.
Rakowski and Durava both totaled over 500 for the night. Rakowski recoreded a 537 over the series while Durava finished with a 515.
The Bluejays will compete at the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Classic on December 4-5.
