WAUKESHA, WIS. - Elmhurst University produced a balanced and competitive performance during CCIW Meet No. 1, scoring 3,086 total pins in Saturday's traditional format over a course of 4 matches and adding 2,420 pins Sunday in Baker competition. The Bluejays relied on a combination of experienced returners and impactful newcomers, with several athletes contributing full four-game traditional series.

During the traditional block, Mary Graves led Elmhurst with the team's highest single-game score, rolling 204 in Match 1. Her full four-game sequence included 204, 190, 145, and 169, resulting in Elmhurst's best overall traditional series of the day to finish 4th individually. Kylie Fiermuga added another strong four-game performance, posting 167, 133, 186, and 147, highlighted by her 186 in Match 3 finishing 17th. Teresa Duffrin was right behind in 18th with one of the top series totals as well, recording 154, 191, 144, and 144, with her 191 serving as Elmhurst's second-highest score of the day. Setting 3 of Elmhurst in the top twenty for the weekend.

Trading off in sets Hannah Farooqui provided meaningful scoring from the middle of the lineup, rolling 165, 152, while Contessa Szymczak delivered a steady two-game contribution, scoring 146 and 124, while Catalina LaFronza produced a single-game 145 in Match 1. Allison Mundt added 147, 100, and 133 in her three appearances, assisting Elmhurst's match totals throughout the rotation. Additional roster support came from Gabby Figueroa and Lili Radosavljevic, who appeared in selective frames during the weekend of competition.

Elmhurst strengthened its weekend performance in the Baker format, where the team posted scores of 769, 779, and 872, with the 872 in Match 7 representing one of the group's strongest rounds of the meet. The Baker session highlighted the team's collective execution and frame-to-frame consistency, contributing significantly to Elmhurst's final two-day pinfall of 5,506.

Overall, the Bluejays' showing was defined by a combination of high-end individual scoring and stable supporting series. Graves, Fiermuga, Duffrin, and Farooqui anchored Elmhurst's traditional scoring output, and the group's late-meet Baker surge provided a strong finish against conference opponents. Elmhurst's balanced contributions and upward trends suggest continued improvement as the season progresses.
