ADDISON, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women's bowling team officially closed the books on their season this past weekend, competing at the Intercollegiate Singles Championships (ISC) sectionals hosted at Stardust Bowl.

Facing off against a deep field of 244 individual athletes, the Bluejays were represented by a trio who battled through six grueling games of sectional play.

Junior Mary Graves led the Bluejays with a consistent performance across the board. Graves saved her best for the finale, rolling a 210 in her sixth game. She finished the day in 57th place with a six-game series total of 1,107.

Freshman Allison Mundt flourished in her first ISC appearance. Mundt fired the high game of the day among the Bluejayst in her second game posting a 212. She remained steady throughout the afternoon, finishing just behind Graves in 64th place with a total pinfall of 1,097.

Sophomore Teresa Duffrin rounded out the Bluejays, finishing 108th overall. After navigating her first few games, Duffrin found her rhythm in the final game, striking her way to a 202 to finish with a series total of 1,042.

With the conclusion of the ISC sectionals, the Bluejays' season comes to an end. However, the future remains bright for Elmhurst bowling. With Graves, Duffrin, and Mundt all anticipated to return to the lanes next year.
