Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst men's tennis team slipped to 0-2 on the season after falling 6-3 to Edgewood College at Courts Plus.

Elmhurst dropped two of three doubles matches and four of the six singles matches in the loss. Injuries forced the Bluejays to default at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles, giving Edgewood two quick points. 

The Bluejays split the two matches that were played in doubles. David Demoll and Shawn Sabaricos defeated Edgewood's Evan Stone and Marius Dornhagen 8-5 at No. 1 doubles. Edgewood's Sabastion Seeger and Jackson Venske toppled the Bluejays' duo of Grant O'Connell and Nico Favuzzi 8-4 at No. 2 doubles. 

In singles play, Stone downed Demoll 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles while Sabaricos dispatched Dornhagen 3-6, 6-2, 10-7. Seeger defeated O'Connell 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles while Venske downed Favuzzi 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4. Tavious Imperial accounted for Elmhurst's final single point with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Zhen Hao Lee at No. 5 singles. 

Elmhurst plays at Cornell College on February 24.
