Box ScoreELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst men's tennis team fell to Division I UIC 7-0 at Courts Plus.
Playing under DI rules, UIC (4-6) earned the doubles point by sweeping all three matches.
Chris Harrison and
Quinn Jennings fell at No. 1 6-2 and
Alex Abbuhl and
Ricardo Franco fell by the same score at No. 3.
Kyle Endicott and
Justin Delawder dropped a tight 6-4 decision at No. 2.
Delawder fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles, while Jennings (No. 2) and Endicott (No. 4) both dropped 6-1, 6-0 decisions. UIC's Campanile took out Wilson 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.
Harrison and Abbuhl found more success at No. 1 and No. 3 singles. Harrison fell to Carl Hedstrom 6-3, 6-2, while Abbuhl lost a tight battle to Andy Page 6-4, 6-3.
The Bluejays travel to Racine, Wis. tomorrow for a 10:00 a.m. neutral site battle with UW-Eau Claire.
