ELMHURST, Ill. - The Elmhurst College men's tennis team upped its record to 6-3 on the season by edging Wabash College 5-4 at Courts Plus.

The Bluejays won four singles contests and one double match en route to the one-point victory.

Alex Harbert improved to 8-1 on the season in singles action by defeating Wabash's Peter Gunderman 6-2, 6-2 at No.1 singles. Will Jung followed with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Daniel Delgado at No. 2 singles. David Devaney toppled Zach Lowry in three sets, winning 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 at No 3 singles. Justin Guenther added a 6-2, 6-2 win over Ian Leonard at No. 6 singles for Elmhurst.

In doubles action, the Bluejays' duo of Jung and Devaney toppled Delgado and Wade Miller 8-5 at No. 1 doubles to account for Elmhurst final point.

The Bluejays travel to Hilton Head, S.C. for spring break contests from March 20-23.
